A DREAM ALREADY COMING TRUE
We can finally announce it: we have a new website, a new online home!
More than a website, it’s a place where we share who we are, what we do and everything we dream of.
And the most beautiful part is how it became possible: thanks to a very special collaborator, a part of our team who has been walking alongside Jithubutu from the very beginning… even when all of this was just an idea. One of those people that not only helps but truly leaves a mark.
Additionally, we are very grateful to announce that this year’s website hosting and domain have been funded by two of our oldest collaborators and their families.
Behind something as “simple” as a website, there are many people believing in its mission. And that is what changes everything.
GROWING FROM INSIDE
We are also looking inward, toward our local team and local members.
We have started an EXCEL and OFFICE course, because we believe that giving the right tools means opening doors. Our goal always is to support those who make Jithubutu.
This course is a first step to our bigger dream: obtaining more computers in order to launch computer trainings for our members!
CREATING WITH HANDS, LEARNING BY DOING
During our carpentry and painting workshops, our team and members have been working together on something very special…
We have built benches for both classrooms and outdoor tables. But honestly… calling them just “benches” falls short. They are unique pieces, made with dedication, creativity, and a great deal of pride. More than just furniture, they look like small works of art.
Additionally, we are also using this space to promote environmental awareness. We continue to guide our members in proper waste management, and to do this, we have placed more visible trash bins throughout the center, making recycling and caring for our environment easier in our daily lives.
WHEN DESIRE OUTGROWS SPACE
There is something that moves us particularly: seeing how the interest in learning is growing.
Spanish classes become more than language lessons: it became a place to meet new people and network.
We had more than 20 people on the waiting list, and we couldn’t just look the other way… so, despite the effort it requires in terms of organization, time, and human resources, we have managed to open a new Spanish group.
Now there are 5 active courses with different levels, filled with people full of drive, curiosity, and effort. And you can really feel that in every class.
WHAT IS REALLY IMPORTANT
One again, we can reassert that Jithubutu is not only activities, classes, improvements.
It’s PEOPLE. It’s OPPORTUNITIES. It’s a COMMUNITY.
And every small achievement has something much bigger behind it: people who believe, who support, who share, who contribute.
